Laser cutting system introduced

Robotic Production Technology (RPT) has introduced the FLACS RT C-series flexible laser cutting system that incorporates all support structure, guarding and part-positioning equipment, robot, laser, and ventilation support equipment into a pre-engineered package.

The second-generation RoboCut A600 laser robot has integrated 100- to 1,000-W CO2 lasers and power control. The robot has endlessly rotating fourth and fifth axes with increased operating speeds from 360 to 720 degrees per second and 400 to 900 degrees per second, respectively. The narrow cutting nozzle allows for the processing of complex part geometries.

The new scanner head option replaces the standard nozzle at the fifth axis and is capable up to 7,000 mm per second and repeatability of ±0.01 mm using up to 600 W of laser power.
