Low-profile gravity rollers introduced

Creform Corp. has introduced a new, low-profile version of its wide Placon® gravity rollers and conveyor mounts. The rollers, available in two styles, are 80 percent of the height of the standard wide Placon conveyor. The rail base is 1.25 in. compared to the 1.57 in. for the standard variety.

The products can help minimize the vertical space needed for conveyors and allow the user to fit more lanes in a given height or to squeeze rollers into a tight space.

The standard system incorporates 0.71-in.-dia. rollers with a 0.75-in.-dia. center to center. It can be configured up to 9.84 ft. long.
