Permanent magnets lift up to 10,000 lbs. of steel, iron

Eriez’ SafeHold® permanent lifting magnets allow manufacturers to lift, pile, and transfer up to 10,000 lbs. of steel and iron of any weight and shape without slings, hooks, or cables. The magnets are available in four styles.

The APL series is designed to handle steel in limited-access applications. The magnet turns off and on automatically to provide continuous operation for hundreds of lifting positions. The EPL series is designed for machine shop use to carry semifinished products such as machine parts, press molds, and steel plates. It offers high capacity for its size.

The RPL series has a two-pole design, and the XPL series is constructed with Erium 3000® rare-earth magnet material. Both can be used to handle both round and flat materials. The XPL magnet is suitable for machine shop use, including loading and unloading of machine centers.
