Rectangular electromagnets lift up to 38,800 lbs.

August 28, 2014

Eriez® rectangular lifting magnets are designed to reduce labor power requirements and eliminate the need for slings, hooks, and cables in arduous attaching tasks.

The line includes three standard models and lengths from 9 to 96 in. With a 2-to-1 safety factor taken with the magnet in the hot condition, the company’s smallest single unit has a holding power of 930 lbs., while the largest unit handles up to 38,800 lbs.

Features include a heavy-duty, welded-steel magnet body; weather-resistant outlet box; copper-wound coil; and shallow, three-pole field for thin, flat loads. Both 50 percent and 100 percent duty cycle options are available.
