Small conveyor available with fixed-speed motor

- Materials Handling
Dorner has announced that its smallest conveyor, the 1100 series, now comes with an upgraded, fixed-speed motor that is 50 percent quieter than the previous version and rated for 10,000 hours of operation. Designed for moving small parts, the compact conveyor has a low, 0.75-in. frame height.
The unit has a 0.625-in. roller transfer tail for small-part end transfers. The conveyor belt is nearly flush with the frame for simplified side transfers. The patent-pending pinch drive allows for a 15-lb. load without the need for high belt tension.
