Walkie/rider pallet trucks withstand harsh environments

UniCarriers Americas Corp.’s Platinum RPX series walkie/rider pallet truck is designed to perform in harsh working conditions. The 5.2-HP, AC-powered truck is available in 6,000- and 8,000-lb. capacities.

The RPX’s fork design features the company’s push-type linkage and tie rods to absorb high-impact shocks caused by uneven floors. Alloy steel fork slides facilitate pallet entry and exit, eliminating the need for replacement of entry rollers and discs. An optional automatic fork leveler feature prevents fork dragging.

Standard equipment includes sealed switches, thermal cutback and shutdown, an epoxy-coated control board, and IP65-rated sealed controller, allowing the truck to operate in temperatures from ambient to -20 degrees F.
