Copper cathodes achieve 2,000 ignitions at 130 amps

Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers HiFocus copper cathodes for plasma cutting of mild steel. They can be used for a cutting current up to 280 amps.

According to the company, in tests, the copper cathodes have achieved 2,000 ignitions with a cutting current of 130 amps and a cycle time of 20 sec., and 900 ignitions with 280 amps.
