Plasma cutter connects automatically to various power sources

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.'s Spectrum® 1000 air plasma cutting and gouging system features Auto-Line™ technology, which allows automatic connection to any primary input voltage from 208 to 575 V, single or three phase, 50 to 60 Hz.
The system is designed for simple torch connection and removal. Auto-Refire™ technology automatically controls the pilot arc when cutting expanded metal or multiple pieces.
When using three-phase input power, the system has a rated output of 80 amps at 150 VDC with a 60 percent duty cycle at 230 to 575 V and 50 percent at 208 V. With one-phase power, the system has a rated output of 80 amps at 150 VDC with a duty cycle of 50 percent at 230 V and 40 percent at 208 V.
Rated cutting capacity, measured at 10 IPM, is 1 in. (25.4 mm). Maximum quality cutting capacity measures 1-1/4 in. (32 mm). Sever cut capacity measures 1-1/2 in. (38 mm). For aluminum and other metals with high conductivity, cutting capabilities are derated as much as 30 percent.
The system's ICE-80T torch includes a drag shield that attaches to the cup and holds the tip 1/18 in. (3.2 mm) off the workpiece, permitting the operator to drag the torch on the workpiece while cutting at full output.
