Plasma cutting machine offers unitized construction, multiple torch options

January 15, 2008

MG Systems and Welding has introduced the EdgeMax plasma cutting system, which offers unitized construction and multiple plasma torch options.

The system is suitable for HVAC, general fabrication, and precision plasma cutting with three basic models: the H, the G, and the P. The H is designed for HVAC, blowpipe, and OEM shops; the G for general fabrication shops; and the P for precision plasma only. Each model has full capture bearing assemblies and a low-mass aluminum beam driven by dual brushless AC motors.

The Global S CNC, designed for simplified use, incorporates a Windows® operating system.

The company provides service, training, and preventive maintenance programs with all of its machines. With the push of a button on the Global control display, the company's virtual service team can assist operators via the Internet. Virtual service also offers troubleshooting and software upgrades.
