Punch press offers two tooling options

Murata Machinery USA Inc. has introduced the Motorum M2558TS/TS-S punch press. The TS model uses Wiedemann-style push/pull tooling, while the TS-S model uses spring-style tooling.

With the push/pull tooling, the ram, punch holder, and punch are connected to achieve a push/pull action (positive stripping) through the entire punching cycle. Available tooling styles include the traditional 112 and 114, Mate Marathon®, and Wilson HP™.

The spring-style turret enables operators to use tooling from existing inventory. New, quick-release die holders allow fast tool changes with single-touch opening of turret covers.
