Cloud-based control system monitors dust collector units

RoboVent offers patent-pending eTell™ Intelligent Controls for monitoring dust collector maintenance requirements. The cloud-based software informs the user if a dust collector needs immediate attention and sends timely maintenance reminders. It also explains how to perform maintenance tasks with video instructions delivered as needed.

The system predicts how much life is left in filters and when maintenance tasks should be performed based on the user’s system use patterns. Because it is cloud-based, it allows viewing of all equipment anywhere and at any time, from multiple facilities on a single application. Collectors can be assigned to zones, and groups of collectors can be managed.

The system analyzes the user’s processes and makes smart predictions on how future activities will affect filter life and maintenance needs. It uses this information to make simple, automatic adjustments that save energy and reduce costs, states the company. Reports allow the user to monitor energy use, filter life, and other key metrics for each machine in a network.

Service technicians can pull up the dashboard to get a full list of maintenance recommendations specific to each collector. The dashboard explains what needs to be done, when it should be completed, and approximately how long each task should take.
