Welding helmet's filter shade changes with flip of a switch - TheFabricator.com

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products offers the Aristo® Tech 5-13 welding helmet with variable-shade autodarkening filter (ADF) lens technology for professional welders.

The helmet has a variable 5-13 digital control for adjustment of shade level, sensitivity, and delay. Its Quick Set™ feature allows for shade change with a flip of a switch. The helmet's grind mode is activated at the lowest sensitivity. Circuit lens technology features an internal LCD suitable for all manual welding processes and plasma cutting.

The helmet's front cover lens is coated for increased scratch and heat resistance. The lens is premolded into a convex curve with an optical Class 1, which eliminates the threat of duplicate ghost arcs visible through the cartridge.

The operator can move the helmet closer or farther away from the face for comfort. The 1-lb. helmet is available in high-gloss yellow, black, and white.
