Welding jacket combines flame resistance with breathability

Magid® has expanded its clothing line to include a flame-resistant welding jacket. It features Aramax® fabric sleeves for ANSI Cut Level 4 protection and a breathable mesh back panel to help prevent heat exhaustion. The flame-resistant mesh material provides protection while allowing body heat to escape, but it is not recommended for overhead welding or other applications in which sparks and slag could get trapped in the mesh.

Para-aramid knit cuffs provide a snug fit with thumb holes to prevent the sleeves from riding up the wearer’s arm. Leather-reinforced, enclosed metal snap closures on the front placket add durability.

The jacket is suitable for welding operations, assembly, and metal fabrication.
