Caster designed to reduce operator fatigue

Caster Concepts Inc. has unveiled the Swivel on Swivel (SoS) caster, designed with two kingpinless, maintenance-free swivel section rigs to help reduce operator fatigue.

The caster reduces the amount of force needed to turn and maneuver a cart and to start rolling a cart when all the wheels are not parallel. It reduces operator push force by almost 40 percent compared to conventional swivel section rigs, the manufacturer states.

The design eliminates side shifting, reduces the turn radius, and eliminates wheel flutters on powered applications.
