Cleaning system uses most distillable cleaning solvents

February 7, 2006

Tiyoda Serec Corp. offers airless vacuum solvent cleaning systems that use almost any distillable cleaning solvent. They have onboard solvent filtration and distillation capabilities, and the vacuum's closed-loop technology keeps solvent emissions to a minimum, the company reports.

The programmable cleaning process can include vapor degreasing, soaking, spray-in vapor or under immersion, ultrasonic cavitation, and rotation. The cleaners use a batch-type cleaning process, with 10- to 20-minute cleaning cycles depending on chamber volume and process requirements.
