External-mix atomizing nozzles positively stop liquid flow

Exair offers atomizing spray nozzles that mix liquid and air outside the nozzle and allow the air and liquid flows to be adjusted independently. The new, patent-pending, no-drip external-mix atomizing spray nozzles positively stop liquid flow when compressed air is shut off.

The nozzles are available in three liquid patterns: round, narrow-angle flat fan, and wide-angle flat fan. They are designed for pressure-fed applications in which precise liquid flow is needed. External nozzles can be used on liquids up to 800 centipoise.

Applications include painting, coating, rinsing, cooling, quenching, wetting (moistening), dust control, and humidification.
