Fume extraction system connects to capturing elements or external systems

ULT AG has introduced the LAS 160 laser fume and dust extraction and filtration system. The low-noise device can be equipped with suitable capturing elements such as hoods and extraction arms, or it can be connected to external systems for automated operation via a D-Sub interface.

The system supports methods such as ultrashort pulse laser processing, removing the smallest particles and emissions from a multitude of machined materials. The filter media achieves high separation efficiency and a high degree of pollutant removal, reports the company.
