Lubricants, cleaners made for beverage can manufacturing

Henkel offers Bonderite lubricants and cleaners for the manufacture of two-piece beverage cans.

L-FM 8300 and 8400 postlubricants help extend tool life, reduce bleed-through on the finished cans, and reduce tear-off rates. The lubricants can be cleaned off easily, states the manufacturer.

C-IC-700 series cleaners are based on an optimized surfactant technology, with a brightener additive that enables etching of the cans with reduced hydrofluoric acid in the cleaner system.
