Open-design baskets help improve parts cleaning

Metallform offers workpiece holders and baskets for bulk parts cleaning. Produced from stainless steel rounds, the baskets have no enclosed surfaces, corners, or edges, giving ultrasonics and spray jets unfettered access to parts.

Removed contaminant is flushed from the basket quickly and can be removed by the filter. Carryover of cleaning media is minimized, resulting in longer periods between bath changes. The open basket design also helps reduce required drying time.

The stainless steel construction is suitable for use with all cleaning media and prevents cleaned components from being contaminated by the workpiece holder and baths from being contaminated by corrosion and zinc separation.
