Pneumatic-tire forklift lifts loads up to 17,500 lbs, heights up to 26 ft.

Nissan Forklift Corp. has introduced the GO6 series heavyweight, pneumatic-tire forklift truck to its Platinum line.

Featuring a diesel engine, the truck can lift loads of up to 17,500 lbs. and heights of up to 26 ft. The engine’s turbo charger creates more power by forcing compressed air into the cylinders. This constant pressure boost occurs at all RPMs for greater torque at low speeds.

An intercooler chills the compressed air, creating a denser intake charge. As a result, more power is produced with a large reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions through its exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).

Features include hydrostatic power steering, a full-suspension seat, a wide-view carriage, and two-speed automatic transmission.
