Portable dust and fume collector designed for welding

Imperial Systems has introduced the Shadow portable dust and fume collector. It has many of the same features as the full-sized CMAXX™, including DeltaMAXX™ nanofiber filters and powerful pulse cleaning, but in a smaller package.

While the nanofiber filter is suitable for use with most small dust and fume collection applications, it is designed for welding, with a MERV 15 rating and a 99.95 percent efficiency for particles as small as 0.3 micron. A HEPA filter can be added for even more efficient filtration.

Users can choose a 6- or 8-in.-dia. fume arm, or two 4-in.-dia. arms. Fume arm length can be customized, and they are available in high-temperature materials if required.
