Program simplifies filter selection for hydraulic applications

Bosch Rexroth has developed Filter Select, a filter-sizing program that allows users to input various parameters such as fluid type, fluid viscosity, system temperature, and micron rating to evaluate the pressure drop across its filters. The program can be used to easily determine the appropriate filter for hydraulic applications and provides the part numbers, model codes, pressure drop curves, dirt holding capacities, and spare parts.

The program has an extensive fluid library.
