Switchable magnetic ground clamps designed to stay cooler

Magswitch Technology has introduced a new line of magnetic ground clamps. The second generation of the product series features a new fin design with increased surface area to help lower temperature by about 27 percent. It offers 300, 600, and 800 amps for a strong hold in the shear or vertical position.

The operator places the clamp on a clean surface, turns it on, and instantly grounds on flat or round surfaces. The clamps can attach to surfaces where traditional clamps cannot, the company states, eliminating the need for welding tabs. Complete on/off technology allows the grounding clamp to stay clean.
