Vertical-acting toggle clamps offered

J.W. Winco Inc. offers the GN 810.1 universal-fit, steel, vertical-acting toggle clamp with vertical mounting base.

The toggle clamp is case-hardened sheet metal, zinc-plated, with a blue passivated finish. The bearing pins are tempered, and the hand grip is oil-resistant red plastic.

The clamp works according to the toggle principle, as the lever and clamping bar move in the same direction. In the clamped position, the operating lever is in its vertical position. The U-bar version of the clamp, with two flanged washers, can accommodate an application-specific clamping screw.

A version including the spindle assembly with neoprene rubber tip is available as a standard. A modified version of the toggle clamp can be used by welding the clasp, which then can accommodate an application-specific hold-down fastener component.
