Automated measurement workcell delivers four pillars of automation in one system
Hexagon Mfg. Intelligence has introduced the 360º Flexible Measurement Cell. According to the company, this is the first automated measurement workcell to deliver the four pillars of automation—flexibility, footprint, throughput, and performance—seamlessly in one system.
The workcell is suitable for automotive and aero structure applications, including powertrain and closure panel fabrication. It is built on a commercial, off-the-shelf workcell system integrated with the company’s measurement systems. Intelligence measurement systems rapidly return operational data to fabricators to help make the manufacturing process data-driven.
The system is scalable, portable, and modular. Offered in three configurations for inline, near-line, or offline applications, it can be adapted to any production space.
