Coating thickness gauges have six measurement mode options

Dakota Ultrasonics has introduced the CMX series of coating and material thickness gauges. The new 100-MHz DSP platform, featuring FPGA technology, is equipped with auto probe zero, auto probe recognition, automatic gain control (AGC), and time gain correction (TGC).

The gauge offers six measurement mode options, along with an A/B scan option. The new PECT mode features a combined coating and base material configuration, while retaining the ability to locate pits and flaws.

The gauge stores more than 210,000 measurements, with two distinct file format options.
