Fully automated hardness tester introduced

Buehler has introduced the new Wilson VH3300 Vickers/ Knoop hardness test system, offering a variety of scales and magnifications for automated hardness testing to ASTM and ISO in test labs, material/product development, clean production environments, and quality control.

According to the company, the system offers durability and precise control during critical test data generation, making it suitable for advanced heat-treatment processes in the aerospace, energy, construction, and transportation industries.

Features include patent-pending collision protection technology, a high-speed sample stage, DiaMet™ universal testing software, a six-position test head with up to three indenters and three zoom objectives, an automated X/Y sample stage available in two sizes, and an image analysis system.
