Materials testing consumable kits contain grinding, polishing materials to prepare 100 specimens

Buehler has created Sum-Met™ Bundles to help simplify ordering consumables for materials testing and analysis labs. The kits contain all the grinding and polishing consumables required to prepare 100 specimens.

Kits are available for several testing applications: ferrous and nickel-based alloys, aluminum and copper-based alloys, titanium alloys, electronic and polymer, and ceramic and refractory.

Typical contents include a combination of CarbiMet2® or Apex® grinding disks (in 8, 10, or 12 in. dia.), polishing pads and cloths, MetaDi® diamond suspensions or pastes, and MasterMet® final polishing suspensions.
