Optical measuring system handles large objects

Aicon 3D Systems offers the MoveInspect HR optical measuring system with the hand-held MI.Probe. The system measures large robot-picked objects quickly and reliably, the company reports.

The system is suitable for mobile or fixed applications. In mobile applications, the large objects are measured on-site with the probe. In static use, the system is integrated in a measuring unit. Both applications compare the relevant points with the nominal data. Possible misalignments are signaled and can be adjusted online.
