Probe designed for simplified corrosion imaging

Olympus has introduced the Dual Linear Array™ probe, designed to improve the inspection of internally corroded parts such as pipes, tanks, and plates. This phased array system features large beam coverage, fast scan speed, and C-scan imaging with increased data-point density.

The probe’s pitch-catch technique offers improved near-surface resolution and pit detection in corrosion survey applications for detection of critical wall thinning. Its compact, lightweight aluminum housing simplifies handling and operation, while carbide wear plates protect the wedges.
