Shop-hardened CMM developed for demanding gauging applications
The new Flexible Intelligent GAuge (FIGA) from Coord3 features a one-piece symmetrical design using CNC machine tool technology. Developed for the production shop, it will perform most demanding production gauging applications, the company states.
In a minimal footprint, the gauge offers measuring volume of 23.6 by 22 by 19.6 in. The horizontal bearing ways are completely enclosed and fully protected, with no exposed cabling. High-resolution glass measuring scales provide a thermal inert measuring accuracy. Open access to the measurement volume provides for ergonomic operator loading or applied automation.
