Flowmeter is corrosion resistant
Universal Flow Monitors Inc. offers the CoolPoint™ vortex-shedding flowmeter with a stainless steel body for corrosion resistance.
The flowmeter is available in 316 SS construction for measuring and monitoring corrosive fluids and water with chemicals added. It can be equipped with Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer seals for improved reliability in harsh chemical environments.
The flowmeter provides consistent flows of water, water/glycol coolant, and low-viscosity fluids. Stainless steel versions are available in two pipe sizes, in. with a maximum flow rate of 4 GPM, and in. with a maximum flow rate of 12 GPM.
In addition to the stainless steel version, the flowmeters are offered with flow bodies of brass with PVDF and Viton seals in sizes from to 4 in., providing flow rates up to 600 GPM. The meters have a 4-20-mA flow transmitter, pulse output, LED, and user-configurable alarm set points. Sizes from to 4 in. are available.
