Waterjet system cuts 3-D parts, bevels to 50 degrees

Jet Edge’s EDGE X-5® 5-axis waterjet system is designed and built for heavy-duty industrial use. The system is available in sizes up to 24 by 13 ft., making it suitable for use in metal service centers for cutting bevels for weld preparation, cutting parts to near net shape, cutting exotic materials, and performing HAZ- and slag-free cutting.

The system cuts 3-D parts such as impellers and bevels up to 50 degrees. The motion system is separate from the catcher tank to eliminate vibration and help ensure maximum part quality.

The system is available in numerous sizes, starting at 5 by 5 ft. An optional second cutting head can be added to double productivity.
