Tungsten grinder accommodates six electrode diameters

Weldcraft has introduced its Triad™ (TTG Plus) tungsten grinder for orbital and hand-held GTAW.

Featuring precision-drilled entries, the grinder accommodates six different tungsten electrode diameters: 0.040 in., 1/16 in., 5/64 in., 3/32 in., 1/8 in., and 5/32 in. It offers 15-, 18-, 22.5-, and 30-degree grinding angles to provide reliable arc starting and weld penetration. The industrial-grade motor is designed to provide consistent cutting and up to 5/32-in. facing capabilities to eliminate the need for additional tungsten preparation tools.

The grinder ships in a steel carrying case that has a powder-coated finish and compartmentalized interior. It includes a standard dual-sided, diamond-coated grinding wheel designed for long-term performance and reduced downtime; an electrode holder to simplify tungsten rotation and reduce the potential for flat spots; and a machine holder that allows operators to bench-mount the grinder.
