FABTECH 17 serves up stamping technology (video)

This year’s FABTECH was as exciting as ever, with 45,000 attendees and 1,700 exhibitors. A palpable level of enthusiasm radiated across the show floor, especially in the stamping section.

Stamping press, tooling, automation, materials and material handling, robotics, lubricant, software, finishing and other stamping-related exhibitors abounded.

Stamping manufacturers were able to see press and pressline demonstrations, get answers to their tooling questions, see material handling in action, discover what’s new, learn about energy-efficient equipment, and explore material solutions to forming problems.

“With more than 750,000 square feet of exhibit space, FABTECH provided attendees with access to the industry’s leading companies, latest innovations and insight into current and future trends,” said Mark Hoper, FABTECH show co-manager and FMA SVP of Expositions and Media.
