Protolabs opens manufacturing plant in Minnesota

Protolabs has opened a machining facility in Brooklyn Park, Minn.—the company’s eighth manufacturing plant in the U.S. The 215,000-sq.-ft. facility houses about 300 mills and lathes.

The company, which produces custom parts and assemblies using CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, automated 3D printing, and injection molding processes, also has three locations in Europe and one in Japan.
