Metal Fab Group/Stainless Works adds robotic welding cell, laser tube processing system

Metal Fab Group/Stainless Works/Reaper Off-road, a job shop, aftermarket performance exhaust manufacturer, and off-road accessory company located in Streetsboro, Ohio, has added a new OTC robotic welding cell and a new BLM 8.2 fiber laser tube processing system.

The dual-arm GMAW- and GTAW-capable robotic welding cell has improved weld efficiency on the company’s offroad bumpers by decreasing weld time to a fraction of what’s required for manual welding. The robotic weld cell offers max tilt and rotation for a variety of part sizes and configurations.

The fiber laser adds tube processing to the company’s current capabilities, which include flat laser sheet cutting, press brake forming, tube bending, wire forming, and welding. It includes automated drill and tap features to help decrease secondary process times.
