Midland Metal Products relocates to Northwest Indiana

Midland Metal Products has relocated to Hammond, Ind., from Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood, moving 135 jobs.

Midland moved into a former Lear Corp. building and plans to expand the facility by 15,00 sq. ft.

Founded 95 years ago, Midland produces metal fixtures for the retail, gaming, agricultural, telecommunications, furniture, lighting, and architecture sectors. Its shop uses laser cutting, turret punching, metal forming, wire forming, tube fabricating, welding, and powder coating.
