New management team acquires CR Industries
A trio of investors has acquired CR Industries Inc., a metal fabricating shop in Cudahy, Wis. With the acquisition, the company’s name has been changed to CR Industries LLC.
The new owners are industry veteran executives Rich Ballenger and Erik Thompson and equity investor Steve Adkins. Ballenger and Thompson are managing the firm. Ballenger previously served as president of Cudahy-based Lucas-Milhaupt Inc., where Thompson also served as general manager.
Ballenger and Thompson are transforming the company into a full-service metal design and fabricating shop with welding, powder coating, and packaging capabilities. The firm has 45 employees.
