Pemamek to deliver laser-hybrid panel line to Fincantieri

Pemamek has received an order from Italy-based shipbuilding company Fincantieri for a PEMA laser-hybrid thin plate flat panel line.

The 984-ft. line, to be delivered in 2020, will include one-sided welding; a milling station; profile assembling and welding stations, both with the laser-hybrid welding process; a profile processing line; a panel trimming station; and several robotized welding systems to weld T-beams onto the panels.

Pemamek will provide installation and commissioning, testing, training, production support, and recommended spare parts.
