Royal Power Solutions opens assembly plant in Mexico

Carol Stream, Ill.-based Royal Power Solutions, a supplier of electrical power and signal distribution components for global vehicle and industrial applications, has opened an assembly plant in Querétaro, Mexico.

The facility currently assembles automotive battery terminal systems, molded plastic covers, and studded eyelets for multiple Tier I and Tier II manufacturers. With the delivery of dies from the U.S., the company will begin stamping processes in June 2019 to fully assemble automobile connection components and systems.

The 75,000-sq.-ft. plant employs 60 people; that number is expected to increase to 100 by the end of 2019.
