Applied Manufacturing Technologies names president

Orion, Mich.-based Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), an independent automation engineering company supporting manufacturers, robot companies, has promoted Craig Salvalaggio to president.

Salvalaggio joined the company in 2006 as a robotics software engineer and worked his way up to become vice president of engineering and vice president of operations. He has served as COO since 2020. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lake Superior State University and a master’s degree in operations management and an MBA from Kettering University.
