Mid Atlantic Machinery announces automation company
Machine tool and fabrication equipment distributor Mid Atlantic Machinery, Harrisburg, Pa., has announced the newest addition to its umbrella of companies: Mid Atlantic Machinery Automation (MAMA).
What started as a division of the engineering group is now its own company, responsible for all automation the company implements. This includes its Robotic Modular Fabricator Package, which enables Universal Robots collaborative robots to automate press brake operations, among other machinery.
Joshua Mayse, the former lead applications engineer for robotics, is the co-founder of MAMA and has been promoted to vice president.
