A member of the ARM (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing) Institute, Dayton, Ohio-based Yaskawa Motoman has announced that two of its employees have received the ARM Champion Award.

This is the second consecutive year that Clint Chapman, senior manager of strategic partner relations, and Roger Christian, division leader for new business development, have received the award. It is given to institute members who go beyond typical duties to enable and advocate for the institute’s work of making robotics, autonomy, and AI more accessible to U.S. manufacturers.

Chapman was recognized for his work in helping to develop RoboticsCareer.org, an ARM-powered website that supports the manufacturing workforce at each stage of the robotics career. Christian was recognized for his persistent promotion of the ROS-Industrial community and the ARM Institute consortium.
