AIDA-America announces staff promotions

Metal stamping press manufacturer AIDA-America, Dayton, Ohio, has promoted several employees.

Bob Southwell, who began his career with the company in August 1998, has been promoted to executive vice president. His past positions at AIDA include regional sales manager, market specialist, national sales director, and vice president of sales and marketing.

Mike West and Al Wichner have been named purchasing group leaders. West joined the company in March 2012 as supply chain coordinator. Wichner has been employed by the company for 12 years and previously served as supply chain coordinator.

Ben Shepherd, who joined AIDA’s engineering department in May 2012, has been promoted to mechanical engineering group leader. His previous positions include mechanical engineer and senior mechanical engineer.
