AISI invites abstract submissions for Great Designs in Steel 2022

The American Iron and Steel Institute has issued a call for abstracts for technical presentations at the 20th annual Great Designs in Steel symposium, to be held in person May 18, 2022, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich.

The event brings together the automotive and steel industries in one place. Comprising more than 30 technical presentations and state-of-the-art displays, it provides insight on the latest trends and applications in new cars and trucks from engineering, design, technology, policy, and academic leaders. This all-day, multitrack program will feature industry topics on lightweighting, AHSS, UHSS, welding, steel engineering, sustainability, and innovative use of steel in new vehicles.

Abstracts should be 200 to 300 words, present new and significant facts, and include results achieved. Abstracts and the completed submission form should be submitted to present@greatdesignsinsteel.com by Jan. 28, 2022.
