Big Rapids Products plans $4.5 million expansion of Kentucky facility

Big Rapids Products plans to extend the footprint of its Flint Drive facility in Mt. Sterling, Ky., with a $4.5 million expansion that will create 44 full-time jobs. The project will include the addition of extensive machinery and equipment that will increase the operator’s production capacity.

With three facilities in Big Rapids, Mich., and two in Mt. Sterling, the company produces metal components for the automotive industry and the appliance manufacturing sector, as well as solar, aerospace, agricultural, and food service sectors.
