Coe ships coil line to Carmeco

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, Mich., has installed a 24-in. coil processing line at Carmeco, a general fabricator located in Lebanon, Mo. The press feed line comprises a series 3 servo roll feed, a series 350 power straightener, a 15,000-lb.-capacity reel, and a 24- by 60-in. threading table.

The press feed line handles mild steels at 40,000-PSI yield from 0.030 to 0.120 in. thick at 24 in. wide or up to 0.141 in. at 15 in. wide. It can achieve a roll speed of 367 FPM with a feed accuracy of +/- 0.003 in.
