Dallas Industries delivers feed line to Tennessee Industrial Specialties

Dallas Industries™, Troy, Mich., a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, has delivered a model DRFHDS-636 UnderLoop SpaceSaver™ servo feed line to Tennessee Industrial Specialties Inc., Sugar Springs, Tenn., a manufacturer of steel belt conveyors and replacement conveyor belts.

The feed line comprises a hands-free threading system featuring a servo-driven synthetic tension roll for maintaining proper coil tension while uncoiling. It also incorporates a lower pivoting table with a feeder/straightener-mounted rocker arm/debender for coil threading. The uncoiler includes powered coil guide rolls that automatically center the coil on the mandrel. The servo feed with pull-through straightener combination features pilot release for both the upper feed and straightener rolls.

It runs steel up to 0.250 in. thick and up to 30 in. wide. It is rated for coils up to 15,000 lbs.
