Dallas Industries delivers two feed lines to Manesa

Troy, Mich.-based Dallas Industries™, a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, has delivered two new UnderLoop SpaceSaver™ feed lines to Manufacturas Estampadas S.A. de C.V. (Manesa), Chihuahua, Mexico, a metal parts manufacturer.

Both feed lines are designed to run steel up to about 4mm thick and 36 in. wide. They are rated for coils up to 6,000 lbs.

One line is a servo feed with piloting pull-through straightener with load car. The other is a cut-to-length line with a production hydraulic shear servo feed with pull-through straightener and no load car. Both hands-free threading systems feature a servo-driven synthetic tension roll for maintaining proper coil tension while uncoiling.
